Chicken Hamonado – Panlasang Pinoy


Chicken Hamonado is a Filipino Chicken Stew. Chicken slices are marinated in soy sauce and pineapple juice, and then stewed with chopped pineapple. This dish has a sweet taste brought about by the brown sugar. It is best eaten with rice.

Here are the ingredients for Pinoy Chicken Hamonado:

2 lbs. chicken cut into serving pieces
1 can pineapple tidbits 20 oz.
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 piece onion chopped
4 cloves garlic crushed
5 tablespoons cooking oil
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
