Grounding Into Gratitude – Root Chakra Yoga – Yoga With Adriene

This yoga practice guides you through a series of poses to balance the root chakra and cultivate grounding with gratitude. When the root chakra, or Muladhara, is out of balance a person can feel anxious, uneasy, fearful, worried and stressed. This can lead to low energy and low immunity and an overall sense of instability. Use the tools of yoga to strengthen and balance to the root chakra, the foundation of all the other chakras. Cultivate self love, stability, and sense of security. You are worthy and deserving. Remind yourself, you are awesome and you are supported!

I struggle with an eating disorder, anxiety, and severe depression, and the patience and kindness you put into your work has made me fall in love with the art of yoga and meditation. I never realized how in my head I am until I found yoga and meditation that puts me back into my body.   4. I’m not trying to be a stick in the mud here and I love you, Adriene. But I’m doing a root chakra balancing project. Finding a good yoga session that embodies what I’m looking for is paramount for me in this moment.

    I’m here working on my focus, my own center, my own mental state and some internal work and you’re just talking so much. Then you start… SINGING. Beautiful voice, btw. But I’m trying to calm the monkey mind here. I don’t want to be thinking ‘Please be quiet. Please be quiet. Please be quiet.’ as I’m also trying to focus on my own breath.

    You have great insights, strength and softness for the most part. And I know because I’ve followed you for years and recommended you to others. You are a guide for many. Don’t forget appropriateness and the reasons for your own teachings.
