This could be killing your deadlifts! In order for us to be our strongest, its important that we put our bodies in the correct position to do so. In this video I am going to be discussing the importance of the path that the barbell travels during a deadlift. This is also important especially when the weights get heavy. The most stabile place for the barbell is directly over the midpoint of the foot.This this is where the center of mass should be when pulling a deadlift to lockout. If the bar is in front of this midpoint your body is at a disadvantage and you will not be pulling from the strongest position possible.
