1/2 cup fine semolina/suji
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
2 green chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp ginger finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
1 small capsicum finely chopped
1 small carrot finely chopped
4-5 spinach leaves finely chopped
1 small tomato finely chopped
some fresh coriander
1 tsp fruit salt/ENO
1 tbsp oil/butter for cooking

  1. It's called oats chilla when we make it with the Indian spices and ingredients not oats pancakes…coz pancakes are made in the western style with milk and yogurt and dry fruits and is sweet

  2. Very nice… Please help me out of this problem.. my mixi is not working.. and I bought normal oats not grinded.. so is there any other option to make the batter with these solid oats?? If I soak it and make leathery by my hand or else??? I am pregnant 2.5 months.. so I want to eat this in diinner tonight

  3. Nice recipe and looks better than shilpa shettys. I am going to try this morning but I will reduce some items including ginger as a tablespoon seems too much.
