  6. I have got the experience of real vedic Ujjayi pranayam a little different as shown in tjis video. The Ujjayi sound from throght should be generated while inhaling nor while exhaling.

I have practiced Ujjayi for years, but after you mentioned it on day 9 of Revolution (which i'm currently working my way through) I thought I'd check this out to 'refresh' and your clear instruction helped me to really 'feel' Ujjayi in a way I never have before – I truly felt the relaxation and depth of this breath and also the 'wave-like' sound/sensation I've heard referred to but never fully understood (AKA Darth Vadar 😉 )… thank you again as always! x

  9. Most of the time when I'm doing yoga and try to control my breathing I end up yawning a lot and prevents me from breathing through the nose. Any tips?

  12. Any other singers out there want to address the mechanics of what’s going on? Worried about over-doing it and creating vocal tension. Clean inhales and closing my mouth while exhaling seems to be working best for me right now. Thanks all, and thanks Adriene. ❤️🧘🏻‍♀️✨🌊

  13. Started the calendar for this month only today, but hey, better later than never! But the thing is, I never knew you could "breathe" through your mouth while keeping it shut, this is crazy. 😀 And super calming.
