Activate your Chakras and let the energies flow. Sukadev leads you through an intermediate yoga class with mental concentration on the Chakras and their powers. This one hour yoga class consists of: Relaxation, Om Chanting, Kapalabhati, Anuloma Viloma (Alternate Nostril Breathing), Sun Salutations with Surya Mantras, Navasana, Shirshasana (Headstand), Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand), Halasana (Plough), Matsyasana (Fish), Paschimotthanasana (Forward Bend), Bhujangasana (Cobra); Shalabhasana (Locust), Dhanurasana (Bow), Garbhasana (Child’s Pose), Ardha Matsyendrasana (Spinal Twist), Final Relaxation with Laya Yoga Technique, Om Chanting. Great to humanity……thanks…yoga is a process which can link the body ..mind…breath…breath patterns mix with the proper thought patterns with a aim to attain a very higher level of consciousness which can give creativity ,morality…courage…to tackle any problems….unless a real master helps like this no one can handle its full potential….thanks to the tutor….for a new learner if a pose or exercise giving some abnormal pain that means that pose or exercise is not fit for yours body status on that period…then you try to do that with the help of a tutor with some variations…..

  4. Im ok with this practice except for headstand, and probably not a good idea to 'try this at home' unguided!. So i just hang loose or do another pose. Just wondered if this class was following a sivananda lineage? Thank you for posting, really great authentic class.

  5. Is it possible for a video discussing the responsibilities after we begin to harness the energy from having faith in the guidance from above and within. I believe it would help students discover their own purpose and meaning, thus easing any internal conflict with the mind. A book by Osho reads of a baby appearing to have no qualms with mastering the art of walking. It is so important to the baby to walk that no mishap blocks the progression. I'm sure there are books and videos concerning this, but it would be most excellent to hear as many credible opinions as this world (and others) will offer. I greatly appreciate the thousands of years put into this activity and those who keep and spread the information.
